Alan Grayson wants the "owner" of the web site arrested, charged, convicted and put away for 5 years. He wants her gone so bad that he has contacted the Attorney General of the US to have her investigated, charged, convicted and put away.

She must have hit a nerve. Maybe you should watch what you say Congressman. Maybe you should listen to the people who elected you. granted, she is not in your district, but I would be willing to bet that she is not the only person who feels that way. I am sure there are people in your district who feel that way. I am pretty sure they have contacted you about it as well. I can't prove it, but it is a pretty solid guess on my part.

Who will step up?

Who will step up? Will it be a lone Democrat voice? Probably not. They are either too scare to speak out against the Chicago political machine or are blindly being pulled along by the party line
Who will step up? Will it be the Republicans? Probably not. They have become so beholden to the "upper crust" of the right wing that the average citizen's voice can no longer be heard over the financial ravings of the right wing elite.
Who will step up? Will it be a lone Independent? Maybe. The Democrats have been taken over by the far left. The Republicans have been taken over by the Democrat lites or the right leaning centrists. The far right are labeled as kooks while the far left are labeled as caring, wanting to help the down-trodden. So, I believe, it will be the independent minded politician who has a chance. One who very well may be middle of the road, but realizes that both Democrats and Republicans are as out of touch with the "man on the street" as you can possible be.
So will it be a man like Joe Lieberman, a person who anyone who has the most remote political knowledge knows is an independent.
Or will it be someone born out of a grass roots political movement who has no political background? Will we see someone with the juevos to stand and be counted. A lone political voice screaming into the Washington elite whirlwind hopping to be heard.
Our forefathers founded this nation. Not literally, I know that, but they spent hours debating the documents that have defined our nation for over 200 years and until recently, we as Americans lived and died by. Now we are "led" by people/parties/ideologies that want to "fundamentally transform" America. We are "represented" by men and women who refuse to meet with the very people who they represent. We are made fun of, trivialized and flat out ignored. No one in either party has what it takes to call a spade a spade. And when they do get some semblance of a backbone, the national media ignores it or jumps on the bandwagon and joins in the name calling.
Washington, you had better wise up. To the parties in Washington I would say this...
Democrats-Wise up. The road you are dragging us down will lead to your demise. America, for the most part, has spoken up, yet you have chosen to play the ostrich and have stuck your head in the sand thinking that if you can't hear us we must not be speaking.
Republicans-Wise up. You had better start campaigning now if you expect to take over next year. Our President started campaigning 2 years ago and has not stopped. And IF you happen to take control next year, you had better be what I and many others hope you can be and should be. PROVE TO US that you are indeed fiscally responsible, PROVE TO US that you indeed want to make our borders more secure, PROVE TO US that you want to improve our economy by not spending us into oblivion.
The question is do either the GOP or the Democrats still think the Constitution means anything?

You want to prosecute who?!

We ask our men and women to go forth and protect our interests. We put them in harms way knowing they may need to lay down their life for our country or people from other countries in the hopes of delivering the ultimate Christmas present, freedom and democracy. When they do go forth and do what we ask, we in turn believe some cowardly bully from another country who openly admits he hates America and what we stand for. He admits he would willingly die for a chance to kill one American citizen. Does anyone honestly believe that 3 SEALS hurt one lowly Jihadist? If they were going to put a hurtin on this guy, a fat lip would be the least of his worries.
This is one of those times when we should stand up and speak up. Do so by signing a petition to stop the prosecution of those brave men and let them go back to doing what they do best. That is not dying for their country but making others die for theirs.

So lets see if I get this right.
1. He wants animals to be allowed to secure a lawyer and then sue their owners. Not a radical idea.
2. He defends Communism and the welfare state, but feels that the "white majority" would oppose it since it would help Hispanics and black people. Not radical at all.
3. Marriage hinders single people and we should just abolish marriage. That isn't a radical idea.
4. He thinks we should be able to take organs from patients, WITHOUT their consent, if they are terminally ill or helpless. That's not a very radical idea.
5. Broadcasters, radio and TV, should be forced to air diverse ads and opinions. Now there is a novel idea that is in no way radical.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This guy has the Presidents ear and he thinks this is a normal thought process or idea?! WHAT?! My dog should be able to get a lawyer?! Cass, I know we are a bit late with the whole "this is your brain on drugs" thing, but seriously, put down the crack pipe and walk away.

America, this is what we get when we elect a radical to the office we have. Birds of a feather flock together?! No one has heard that saying before?

Cass Sunstein talks about censoring the media when he is the one that needs censored. Not because of his radical, crazy, left field, ideas but because it would be for his own good. If he wants to spout off about his radical ideas or opinions, go for it. But does he realize how insane he sounds?!

My mama always told me "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". You can tell I listened. In today's day and age, we may want to consider altering that a bit. Hey Cass, If you can't say something intelligent, shut your pie hole!!

Look, here is a guy that has his fingers in a large slice of the governmental pie and my fear is, no matter how much we may want to or need to or get to clean it, his stain will be left on the fabric of America FOREVER. It is time to give Washington DC an enema and get rid of the lot of them.

Over 200 years ago our forefathers signed their name onto a document that will FOREVER hold a place of honor. On that document they made a solemn vow. "AND FOR THE SUPPORT OF THIS DECLARATION , WITH A FIRM RELIANCE ON THE PROTECTION OF DIVINE PROVIDENCE, WE MUTUALLY PLEDGE TO EACH OTHER OUR LIVES, OUR FORTUNES, AND OUR SACRED HONOR." If they could see how lazy we have become, how so like sheep we are as a nation, they would be furious and they would be heart broken.

Am I suggesting we march on Washington by the millions? Maybe.

Is it time for Revolutionary War II? Maybe.

Is it time that we the people take back our country? HELL YEAH!!

I DARE YOU NOT TO CRY A BIT

In today's society, our warriors are not given the honor they so justly deserve. While they maynot be, in some cases, treated as harshly as our Vietnam veterans may have been when they returned, they are not given the honor they should get. Most are given indifference while some our mocked and ridiculed.

History has shown that many nations give their warriors a special place both in society and in the hearts of the very people they defend. This place is much deserved. You can rightly judge a nation on how it treats it warriors. Judge the nation on how it treats the very men and women who, without hesitation or reservation, volunteer to lay their life on the line every day in order to keep the battle anywhere but here at home. They leave family and friends behind for months on end in order to ensure that someone else, whom they have never met and might have very little in common with, gets a chance to have a sliver of the freedoms that many here in the U.S. take for granted and place very little thought on or about.

Many country's don't allow some of the basic freedoms we have. It isn't every country that allows you to march to the nation's capital and protest. It isn't every country that allows you to write what you want about your government and put it in the paper. In some country's the newspaper is controlled, or at the very least tightly scrutinized and edited, by the government.

So when you find someone or some people who take time or make time to ensure that our warriors get the respect they deserve in life OR in death, that person is special. And then to learn he or she is not a veteran and does it out of a love for our men and women in uniform, they become even more special. The emotions and thoughts that veterans feel for these people is very similar to the emotions brought on by watching our flag wave and hearing our anthem play. For both of these, to veterans, are much more than the sum of the parts. I believe, for veterans, the flag and the National Anthem evoke much more emotion and bring it from deeper within than they do for your average citizen. We spent years under that flag, hearing it wave in the wind, feeling it block the sun to cool us in one second and moving away the next allowing the sun to hit our backs. The National Anthem is a song we hear more times a year than I could count. It reminds us why we do what we do and of those who did it before us.

To this gentlemen in Texas, from a veteran in Pa, sir I say thank you for giving our men and women what they so richly deserve.

I got this off a friends Facebook page. I'm not sure where he got it, but where doesn't matter. What matters is the truth behind the words. Enjoy.

Dr. Krauthammer is on Fox News . He is an M.D. and a lawyer and is paralyzed from the neck down. A friend went to hear Charles Krauthammer. He listened with 25 thers in a closed room. What he says here, is NOT 2nd-hand but 1st. The ramifications are staggering for us, our children and their children.

Last Monday was a profound evening, Dr. Charles Krauthammer spoke to the Center for the American Experiment. He is a brilliant intellectual, seasoned and articulate. He is forthright and careful in his analysis, and never resorts to emotions or personal insults. He is NOT a fear monger nor an extremist in his comments and views . He is a
fiscal conservative, and has received a Pulitzer Prize for writing. He is a frequent contributor to Fox News and writes weekly for the Washington Post. The entire room was held spellbound during his talk.

Summary of his comments:
1. Mr. Obama is a very intellectual, charming individual. He is not to be underestimated. He is a cool customer who doesn't show his emotions. It's very hard to know what's behind the mask. The taking down of the Clinton dynasty was an amazing accomplishment. The Clintons still do not understand what hit them. Obama was in the perfect place at the perfect time.

2. Obama has political skills comparable to Reagan and Clinton . He has a way of making you think he's on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES!


3. Obama has a ruthless quest for power. He did not come to Washington to make something out of himself, but rather to change everything, including dismantling capitalism. He can't be straightforward on his ambitions, as the public would not go along. He has a heavy hand, and wants to level the playing field with income redistribution and punishment to the achievers of society. He would like to model the USA to Great Britain or Canada .

4. His three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION, and NATIONAL HEALTHCARE by the Federal government. He doesn't care about the auto or financial services industries, but got them as an early bonus. The cap and trade will add costs to everything and stifle growth. Paying for FREE college education is his goal. Most scary is his healthcare program, because if you make it FREE and add 46,000,000 people to a Medicare-type single-payer system, the costs will go through the roof. The only way to control costs is with massive RATIONING of services, like in Canada . God forbid!

5. He has surrounded himself with mostly far-left academic types. No one around him has ever even run a candy store. But they are going to try and run the auto, financial, banking and other industries. This obviously can't work in the long run. Obama is not a socialist; rather he's a far-left secular progressive bent on nothing short of revolution. He ran as a moderate, but will govern from the hard left. Again, watch what he does, not what he says.

6. Obama doesn't really see himself as President of the United States , but more as a ruler over the world. He sees himself above it all, trying to orchestrate & coordinate various countries and their agendas. He sees moral equivalency in all cultures. His apology tour in Germany and England was a prime example of how he sees America , as an imperialist nation that has been arrogant, rather than a great noble nation that has at times made errors. This is the first President ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!

7. He is now handing out goodies. He hopes that the bill (and pain) will not come due until after he is reelected in 2012. He would like to blame all problems on Bush from the past, and hopefully his successor in the future. He has a huge ego, and Dr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.

8. Republicans are in the wilderness for a while, but will emerge strong. Republicans are pining for another Reagan, but there will never be another like him. Krauthammer believes Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty & Bobby Jindahl (except for his terrible speech in February) are the future of the party. Newt Gingrich is brilliant, but has baggage. Sarah Palin is sincere and intelligent, but needs to really be seriously boning up on facts and info if she is to be a serious candidate in the future. We need to return to the party of lower taxes, smaller government, personal responsibility, strong national defense, and state's rights.

9. The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We are spending trillions that we don't have. This could lead to hyperinflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, Reid and Pelosi a pass because they love their agenda. But eventually the bill will come due and people will realize the huge bailouts didn't work, nor will the stimulus package.These were trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama's allies, unions and the Congress to placate the left, so he can get support for #4 above.

10. The election was over in mid-September when Lehman brothers failed, fear and panic swept in, we had an unpopular President, and the war was grinding on indefinitely without a clear outcome. The people are in pain, and the mantra of change caused people to act emotionally. Any Dem would have won this election; it was surprising it was as close as it was.

11. In 2012, if the unemployment rate is over 10%, Republicans will be swept back into power. If it's under 8%, the Dems continue to roll. If it's between 8-10%, it will be a dogfight. It will all be about the economy. I hope this gets you really thinking about what's happening in Washington and Congress. There is a left-wing revolution going on, according to Krauthammer, and he encourages us to keep the faith and join the loyal resistance. The work will be hard, but we're right on most issues and can reclaim our country, before it's far too late.

Do yourself a long term favor: send this to all who will listen to an intelligent assessment of the big picture. All our futures and children's futures depend on our good understanding of what is really going on in DC, and our action pursuant to that understanding!! It really IS up to each of us to take individual action!! Start with educating your friends and neighbors!!!

States Rights. The movement is alive and well.

Alaska, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Tennessee. What do these states have in common? (Que Jeopardy music)

Ok, all of them, in one way or another, have told our government to back off and stop stepping over the line. Each has told the Federal Government to back the truck up to the other side of the 10th Amendment line. No crossing this border illegally!!

And it is about time. Far too long have the states bowed down to the Federal Gov't in way too many issues. I am very surprised it was not attempted during the Bush administration in states like Commiefornia or the Peoples Republic of New Jersey. Both are hard left states and don't try to hide it. The recent election of a Republican Governor in New Jersey is refreshing and brings hope to the people.

Call your legislators and let them know you support states rights and the 10th Amendment. You may have to remind them what it is during your phone call and remind them again on paper next year.

Allow me to ramble

I see the direction our country is headed and I am scared. My children will not enjoy the same country I did when I was growing up. It has been tainted by power-hungry political vampires who have slowly drained the "self reliance" blood that flows through our nations veins. We now live in a society where a dis-agreeing opinion is "offensive" and the offended party screams for legislation to protect them. It seems everyone has a "right" to everything. They want it for nothing yet are not willing to pay into the pot.
Evidence the recent passing of "health care reform" by the House of Representatives. They presume to know what is good for me and you. They tout it as solving all of our health care woes. To quote Joe Wilson "You Lie". Why are they not required to take part in it if it is such a good deal?
We have gotten what we deserve. We as a society have sat back on our ever widening bums while we let the fox raid the hen house so to speak. We have allowed them to do what they want for far too long and now their roots have gone so deep, it is almost impossible to pull them out of the Washington DC ground. The ground is so fertile from all the crap that has been spread, the political weeds have grown out of control.

We need to pull the weeds. It is time to clear the garden of freedom and plant some new crops.

Do polls matter?

We have seen polls-a-plenty in the last few months. All kinds of polls. Is it all Bush’s fault or is it Obama’s fault? Are the Democrats the problem or is it the Republicans? Do you view blah blah blah?

WHO CARES?!?! If polls mattered, the Health care “reform” would not have passed the way it did yesterday.

Every week we hear about this group or that group making noise about the various causes. It seems to me that he who speaks loudest wins, regardless of the cause or it's validity. Unless it is a conservative voice. We have “the greenies” screaming save the planet, so now we won’t drill for oil right here in America where we have it available by the barrel. We have Democrats in Congress telling the public, on record and on the news every day, that the vast majority of Americans want health care reform. We have the Speaker of the House stating that the majority want the public option. Speaker, the vast majority DO NOT want the public option. The vast majority do want health care reform. BUT we do want the government “hands out of the cookie jar”!

If polls mattered, the representatives that we voted into office and that work for us would not have passed that pile of crap called a health care reform bill. We have seen the TEA Party attendees maligned and made fun of by those who swore that the election of Obama would bring an era of “peace and civility” back to Washington DC. Speaker Pelosi, YOU LIE!!! If by peace and civility you mean calling TEA Party attendee’s Nazi’s then I guess you have succeeded.

The White House has declared war on Fox News. Why? Because they will not tow the party line and bow at the alter of Obama. They are viewing the political happenings in Washington with skepticism and distrust. Could it be a political ideology conflict? Maybe. Could it be that Fox News is doing what Journalists are supposed to do? Maybe. Or could it be that the White House is mad that they have gotten the main stream media brainwashed and Fox simply didn’t go “gentle into that good night”? Probably. Fox has resisted singing ANYONE’S praises, including Bush. I seem to recall them taking him to task regarding multiple issues so why should Obama be any different.

Polls don’t matter. They might matter to you and I, but I doubt they matter to the White House, to Congress or to the cronies that reside in Washington D.C. (District of Criminals). They didn't matter 1 year ago and they don't matter now. Regardless of whether anyone asks me a poll question or not, my opinion is this:
1) Government is the problem not the solution.
2) More Government makes more problems than it fixes.
3) With our Governments track record of abyssmal failure, why should I trust them now, regardless of who is in the White House and controlling Congress?

Random questions.....

1) I am wondering if/when ANYONE will stand up and tell the Congress we have had enough?

2) Am I the only person willing to call the President a liar?

3) Am I the only person willing to question EVERY person he has appointed to positions of significant influence yet not be accountable to anyone?

4) At what point does the President accept the issues he has to face are his and his alone? When does it cease to be a problem he inherited from the previous administration?

Things that make me go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.


I'm guessing the answers are as follows.
1) No
2) No
3) No
4) Never as far as I can predict

This is the issue. We have a Congress and a President who feel that the citizens of this country are insignificant. They feel as if we and our opinions do not matter. They think that the needs of the few outweigh the needs of the many. A few, 15 Million or so, need health care. So lets destroy a system, while having flaws, is still the best system around for the many, 285 million or so.
The debt is rising. Lead by example and do your job for no salary. That would help significantly. That is the best start, I can see, to eliminate wasteful spending.

President without a country

President Obama believes we are no longer a Christian nation, we have been arrogant and that after 9/11 we didn't live up to our ideals. He believes that as the head of the greatest power on the planet that he should bow to foreign leaders and it is ok. He even told people, while in Egypt, that you could say America is a Muslim nation.

So I am thinking that we have a President looking for a nation to preside over.

America is no longer a Christian nation? Then what are we?

We have been arrogant? Was that before or after we saved Europe from the Nazi's? Was that before or after we captured Saddam Hussein?

After 9/11 we didn't live up to our ideals? Was that after or before this nation came together to handle our business? Did we fail while we as a nation set aside political ideology for a while to take care of New York? Was that happening while the Fire Departments, Police Departments and others risked their lives to try and save people from the twin towers? Was it going on in the main stream media while they showed footage of people coming form the 4 corners of this great nation to volunteer to do what needed to be done, regardless of what that was, to help out?

We are a Muslim nation? Really? That must have happened while I was sleeping. Did the Main Stream Media forget to announce that? because I could swear that there are still more Judeo-Christian churches than there are Mosques. The Muslims must be meeting at St Patricks church now.

Mr President, do yourself a favor and close your mouth. The statements you read off your teleprompter are embarrassing to this nation. It only serves to show two things. Either you1) are completely clueless and out of touch with America as a whole or 2) you are showing your true allegiance and it is not to this country.

I believe it is both of those. I think he and about 98% of his party are out of touch with main stream America. And I think he does not have any allegiance to this country. So if he does have no allegiance to the U.S., then who does he have allegiance to?

Just another week

We embark on another week of the MSM praising Obama. We get to listen, if you so desire to tune in, to them chant his name, regurgitate his mantra for change and hope. Yet for all the hype around this President, he has done very little. He failed to get the Olympics to Chicago. He has done nothing in the Middle East. The way the MSM had him hyped prior to his swearing in, he was going to solve world hunger, stop the wars in the Middle East, prevent global warming and get Israel and Iran to sing Cumbaya around a campfire eating smores!
So what has he done? I mean what has he really accomplished? Nine months into a 4 year lifetime and he has accomplished JACK! Other than Bow to a foreign country leader. O yeah, we are now about $12 TRILLION dollars in debt. He is spending my hard earned dollars faster than I ever did.
Is it time to audit the Federal Reserve? It sure is. If I was doing what they Government does in a business, I would 1) be fired and 2) the board of directors would surely audit the books. And both with good reason. Where is the money going would be the first question. Where, if any, are the sweetheart deals being made would be a legitimate question.
Tell them to start the audit!!

Thoughts for the day

I find myself in a quandary. I spent 20 years in the Navy and every time I re-enlisted I took an oath. I raised my hand in front of witness' who watched me make a promise. One that I was ready to enact at any time it was needed, without hesitation or reservation. I never carried a gun in combat. I never had to hold a position on a hill. I was in the Navy, not the Marines or the Army. Yet my oath was the same.

" I, State Your Name, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God. "

I still choose to live my life by that code. I stand ready to defend my country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same. THE CONSTITUTION, not the government. So help me God. I never took the oath lightly then or now.

Now I find myself in a position that I am questioning my oath. If it comes down to defending the Constitution and it's intent as the founding fathers wrote it, I may have to defend my country against domestic enemies. Our own elected officials. Our officials seem intent of destroying / re-writing the Constitution. Now I am saying I am going to march on Washington with a gun. BUT I can let my voice be heard. I can hold my elected officials accountable. As accountable as I can. I am only one man.

But a song often starts with a single voice.

The American Crisis

“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in the crisis, shrink from the service of their country: but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.” When these words were penned by Thomas Paine in a series of papers entitled “The American Crisis”, he had no way of knowing that they would be as relevant in 1776 as they are today.


We are a country in the midst of a plague that will wipe what we know as America, off the planet. Our country was founded by men who knew that a government gets its powers from its people. They inked documents that are evidence of that thought. They ensured we had separation of powers so that no one body of government could overtake or overrule another. They put on paper the idea that a government gets only the power that we the people allow, and we have allowed our “representatives” to enact laws that have made micro tears in the very fabric of our society. We have allowed them to usurp constitutional authority and under mind that very document that delineates there powers. Our Constitution is in jeopardy of being destroyed by people who claim to be protecting it.


The current administration is an example of an allowed corruption and systematic destruction of the political system. Our President has surrounded himself with Czars that 1) do not report to the people, 2) have some of the most radical views ever allowed to have the president’s ear and 3) have some very questionable alliances and friendships.


We have representatives who, while citizens exercise their right to free speech, choose to call them vile names and make inferences linking the people with a questionable group all because they have a dissenting opinion. Our founders understood that the citizens had to be allowed to voice differing opinion. Yet, we are now asked by our President to spy on our neighbors. We have been asked to provide names of people who choose to disagree with the administration. Our representatives work for us and we have forgotten to remind them of that fact. They “rule from on high” completely cut off from the populous. This separation from their constituents has allowed them to grow a feeling of superiority and has widened the chasm separating them from us.


We have an administration that while out of one corner of their mouth say they care about the populous, say out of the other, we want to take care of you and do it for you. What happened to tough love? As parents there are times that we have to let our kids fall so they can learn to get up on there own. We have to watch them, in silence, fail so they can learn to succeed. We have to watch them make bad decisions so they can learn the consequences of their actions. Yet our President will not do the same. He puts out fixed numbers in order to advance his agenda. An agenda which is not popular, apparently. We are loud and proud, yet they are deaf.


None of this would have been acceptable 135 years ago. We had a country ruled by common sense. We had a country ruled by men of honor, where there word was their bond and the nation came first, not re-election and special interest groups. Far too long we have allowed them to get away with it. We have elected them and re-elected them for so long that they have made a career of doing just enough to get re-elected. They are professional beggars for money that is disguised as “election funds”. They have made a profession out of double speak and avoiding questions. Both parties are guilty of it, not just Democrats or Republicans. If we allowed our military leaders to get away with what they have, our military would be in shambles. If we hold out military leadership to a standard, why not hold our elected leadership to an even higher standard?


Our Constitution guarantees many things, but success is not one of them. Many feel as if the Government can take care of them. They feel as if the government “owes” them in some fashion, success. I am all for equal OPPURTUNITY. But that does not mean equal outcome. My daddy had a saying; the world needs ditch diggers too. If you want money, go get it. LEGALLY!! If you want fame, go get it. Work for it. Sacrifice. Sweat. Study hard. No one said everyone should go to Harvard or Stanford. Not everyone can, whether it is because of money or intellect. Many men and women who have failed or succeeded have been Ivy League educated and many have no secondary education at all. Your success depends on your hard work and drive. It does not depend on a government handout. Yet our government seams to be doing that very thing. They have handed out money to businesses that have a track record of abysmal failure to handle vast sums of cash.


Yet for everything our Government is not, it is so much more. We have an opportunity many people have died trying to live under. We have a voice, supportive or dissenting. A voice that up until very recently was protected. Yet now that seems in jeopardy. We have a chance to decide who we want to represent us. We have freedoms that some only have in dreams and some have in nightmares. Our men and women lay scattered abroad, some whole and some in pieces, so that a few could be free from Communism, Marxism, Socialism and far too many others –ism’s. We as a nation have offered up our own as a sacrifice on the alter of freedom. They went, some willingly and some not, to answer the call. President John F Kennedy said, “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge--and more.”


It is time for the citizens of the United States to take it back. Pull it out of the grip of the life long politicians. Remove the chains that have tied it to special interest groups. Pull the American dream out of the gutter of Washington DC and give it back to the nation to which it belongs. This can only happen if we send a message to Washington. That message must be, listen or get out! Listen or we will find someone who will. Represent us or we will get someone who will. Practice fiscal responsibility. Secure our borders. Don’t let politicians stick around long enough to grow roots. Yes, term limits. Make taxes fair and equitable, bring in the FairTax. Ensure laws apply to EVERYONE. This includes Politicians and illegal immigrants. Make English the national language.


You have a chance to change the voice that gets heard. The same voice, Democrat or Republican, has been heard for too long. It is time for a new voice. Now is the time for you to take back your place in Washington with a new representative. Elect a man with a fresh voice that can speak for you when your voice is tired and weak. Elect Mike Yilit for your next Pennsylvania Senator.

Dear Representatives in Washington DC

Below find a letter I penned to my "Representatives" in Washington DC. I will be dropping them in the mail this evening.
The million dollar retirement fund idea is not mine, but one I heard was written about in a Florida newspaper some time back. If I knew the author I would give credit where it is due.

Dear Senator Casey/Senator Specter/Congresswoman Schwartz,
I am writing this letter in regards to our dully elected representatives in Washington DC. Far too long those in elected positions have not listened or heard the voice of the people. They “listen” long enough to collect the votes from their district. They then leave for Washington and never return until the next election.
Those who claim to represent the people no longer do. They represent their careers and those who donate the most to their re-election campaign. Special interest groups, those I support and those I do not, are running Washington at a time in out nation’s history when it should be run by the people, for the people. This lack of representation is a symptom of a larger cancer that is eating away at the national body that is America.
BOTH parties espouse facts skewed by political ideology and a want or need to be re-elected. Both parties have moved left and some of the party members have moved further than others. The Democrat and Republican parties of today would not be recognized by the party members of 50 years ago.
It has become, by some, un-American to question our leadership and their decisions or lack thereof. The fact is our nation’s history is built on the shoulders of giants who questioned everything about our former government. These men lost everything they had, money, family and in some cases there lives, to question our government and then try to change it. They tried and succeeded. They gave us the gift of a government we could change, if we saw fit, by majority vote. They built a system whereby we the people could govern ourselves. Govern ourselves by electing representatives.
That is no longer happening. Middle of the night meetings, “secret” votes, bills that are far too long and written in lawyer-ese so that nobody short of a lawyer could understand. It all seems to be done in order to keep the people confused or in the dark about what really happens in Washington.
Both parties are guilty of inserting needless information or proposals into bills. The recent “stimulus”, at first glance, appears to be a payback from the Democrats to their constituency. Very little in the stimulus bill creates jobs. As a matter of fact, we were told unemployment would not go above 8% if we passed the stimulus bill. Here we are approaching 10%. The “representatives” in Washington lied to us for support or that is how it appears.
We were told this was the worst economy since the Great Depression. Then we were told we underestimated just how bad it was. Is this really the time to increase spending exponentially? Is this really the time to increase taxes on the upper income earners? I would say no. I never got a job from a poor man. It is the upper income earners who own, operate and open small business and employ the vast majority of Americans.
Enact the FairTax if you truly want a level playing field for all of America. Let everyone, regardless of income earned, pay the same percentage. THAT would be fair. Taxing the upper income bracket to pay for your Socialist programs is not fair nor is it American.
We need to fix health care costs. We can all agree to that, I believe. However, allowing the government to put their hand into the medical care arena is ludicrous. There is no government plan that runs as it was envisioned or advertised to the people. Social security is bankrupt, or very close. They tell us it will create competition. What competition can the government bring that the other 1500 insurance companies can’t? How can ANY business compete on a level playing field with the government?
If we send the 11-15 million illegal aliens back to their country of origin, we can do a few things. By getting rid of the illegal workers in America, we have open jobs for Americans. We will ease the burden on the health care system by eliminating people using the emergency room as the primary care physician. We will also open up construction jobs to work on the border fence that we the taxpayers funded but is not being built. Where did the money go?
Bailing out ANY company was the wrong move by the government. I feel for the people loosing jobs. The auto industry was hit hard. But the majority of the blame can be laid at the feet of the U.A.W. By forcing, through strikes, the companies to move more money into the workers retirement, health care, pay, etc, it forced the auto makers to increase auto cost to pay for the increases. There are people out of work right now that, I believe, would cross a picket line for a check. Let the UAW walk out and hire new workers. I would rather pay for training a new person that giving in to the UAW.
Unions can and should talk to workers about becoming a union shop. BUT the vote by the workers should be private behind a curtain, NOT in public so as to be influenced by union representatives.
Investigate ACORN. There are enough allegations that it should become apparent that something is going on.
Leave my guns alone. The Constitution guarantees me the right to keep and bear arms. Support HR 197 / S 845, the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.
Given the chance to speak to the President I would say this....
Mr President, you decided, along with Congress, that bailing out failing companies was a wise investment. You said giving money to business failures was what we needed to do. There was a better way that trusts the average American. It gives the people who are used to budgeting and living within their means a chance. Give all those citizens of the USA over 50 years of age 1 million dollars with the following caveats. Using that money, pay off your current home OR buy a newly constructed home. Pay off your current AMERICAN made car OR buy a new car, in cash, from one of the big 3. What is left is yours free and clear, not taxes, provided it all goes into a designated retirement fund, IE 401(K) IRA, etc. Pay off all credit card debt. Last, retire now.
Doing this would have immediately opened up jobs, created a need for automobiles and shored up the housing market and lending institutions.
I would like to thank you for taking time to “listen” to one of your constituents.

Dear Mr President,

It is with a happy heart that I tell you I am done. Not smoking, that was almost 10 years ago. I am done listening to your lies. I hear your words and they are interrupted by treacherous undertones that some miss and many do not. I hear the speeches and many fall under the power of the mantra you ran on, "CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE". Yet here I sit knowing full well the only change you were referring to was a change of the title holder. You sir have changed nothing.
You have seen fit to appoint people to act in your stead, yet they answer to no one but you. I fear you have risen to the position you are in and have not the first clue what The Constitution is about. You sir are the very reason it was written. You and your political appointee's.
I have made it my mission to, at every chance, expose your tyranny to the light of the American public. I have made it my mission to expose your traitorous words and actions so that the public is made aware of what some of us elected.
Many people fell victim to your words and swagger. I did not. I knew that if America was to fall, it would have to come from within, and it has. Your proposed "Cap and Trade" will shackle America, your "Bailout" of American business will lock the shackles in place. Thanks to you, we are slaves. Slaves to a debt that will take generations to pay off, IF it ever gets paid off at all.
Now you want to tell the American public we "need" health care. We "need" Government run, "Nationalized" health care. How ironic that you and your party are proposing a health care plan that is supposed to be a god send, yet you and Congress will not be a part of it. Why is that Mr President? If this plan is so good, why do you and Congress not partake of it?
I am done. No more. every person I meet will know about it. Every person who will lend me an ear will hear about the speech with no clear meanings. They will know that you apologized for us, bowed to world leaders and made us weak in the world's eyes.

Letter to our President

Please, forward this to our President to let him know how you feel. What follows is a letter sent to our President by Representative Sam Rohrer, District 128, Berks County, Pa. It was/is a reply to a recent speech made by President Obama.



Dear Mr. President,

I write to you as one elected official to another on behalf of average American citizens. We listen to your words and measure them carefully. With hope, we watch your actions. We then look to history and compare the events of our day with the events of yesterday. We look to our Founders and read carefully their intellectual discourses and their moral debate. They ultimately concluded that the actions of the king were best described as tyranny, because they could not be honestly described any other way. Having come to such a serious and reasoned conclusion, their path was charted—unknown as to its outcome—but certain as to its demand upon them. Mr. President, we are doing what Americans have done before.

Many of your words, at face value, inspire and offer some level of hope. This is why many Americans cast their vote for you. Yet, now that you are in office, your actions are inspiring fear and distrust. At nearly every level, Americans, regardless of political party, are being forced to walk down the same road our Founders were forced to walk – questioning, analyzing, and looking deep within their souls. The similarities between the past and the present are amazing. If you desire to test the American people’s resolve and challenge their patience, you are accomplishing your goal. You know what is happening within the hearts and minds of the average American. That is why state legislatures are offering and passing resolutions, re-affirming the 10th Amendment and state sovereignty issue. That is why the Tea Party movement is growing by the day and is attended by rich and poor alike. That is why you and Congress are hearing from the American public in record numbers on an increasing range of major issues including the bail-out, the stimulus plan, “cap and tax”, and government intrusion into health care.

Your speech sounds sensitive to the economic and emotional needs so heavy on our people. Yet, your continued references to being guided by the “Rule of Law” (our Founders knew this meant God’s Higher Law and the Highest Law of the Land – the Constitution) are hollow and disingenuous. Your recent speech in front of the original Constitution of the United States of America in the National Archives makes it all so clear that your words mean nothing. Your agenda and you yourself appear to be that “rule of law” – effectively setting aside all Constitutional constraints. It’s unfortunate that I must be so direct, but you are leaving the American people with very few options.

Mr. President, it is clear by your speech and actions that your oath to the Constitution is not binding to you and, therefore, is a broken oath. On many fronts, so much of significance has happened in such a short time. You (and the Congress) are overriding state sovereignty and encouraging the states into unsustainable programs through Stimulus Funds: this will force them to beg you and the elite in Washington for help when the funding runs out. Your policies are destroying the wealth of hard-working Americans by plunging this nation into inescapable debt to our enemies and by justifying the disastrous printing of trillions in fiat money. What you and the Federal Reserve do not destroy immediately by exploding our debt, will be completely devoured by the ensuing hyper-inflation. What an insidious way for you and Congress to spend what you do not have by robbing it from every hard-working American who has responsibly worked and saved!

You have violated historic contract law by choosing who wins and who loses, while Chrysler and General Motors is eviscerated and turned into ‘Government Motors’. You have thumbed your nose at the ‘Balance of Power’, so carefully conceived and implemented by our Founders, by appointing unaccountable “Czars” to function as your direct emissaries over fundamental areas of public policy, thereby blatantly by-passing the checks and balances of Congressional oversight. You pursue special interest agendas motivated by the faddish science of “Global Warming” or “Climate Change”, or whatever it will be called next. In the ‘cap and tax’ plan, you justify the biggest tax assault on the American people ever conceived. Yet, you boldly assure the American people that it will cost them nothing, since only the “polluters” will pay. But, in the process you will destroy thousands of truly sustainable jobs (in exchange for temporary “green” jobs – like insulating buildings and re-caulking windows). Bringing America to its knees in financial dependence, in energy dependence, and a gutted manufacturing sector is sadly what’s happening. It appears that in reality, the “Change” you promised is just your personal change—clearly not what the American people so desperately hoped for.

So Mr. President, these things that I and the American people have come to observe and conclude are bringing this nation to a point closer each day that resembles the circumstances that forced the hearts, the minds and then the hands of our Founders. As we quickly approach the remembering of Independence Day – July 4, 2009, please remember that as you make your choices, so must we. May you and all the American people reread the Declaration of Independence – very carefully. Identify the principles they clearly stated and then apply them to today. Feel the intensity of the letter sent to the King. Understand the careful steps they undertook to make the moral case for freedom and independence in the context of the history of mankind. Note in particular the foundational precepts woven into paragraph two, written as much for the benefit of Americans yet unknown and unborn as it was a message to King George. As the President who holds the highest elected position in both honor and responsibility in this Republic, place yourself in the position of the King, look in the mirror, and then look across this great land at the faces of our great people and listen to their pleas. The King didn’t know for sure all that Declaration Letter would mean for him, but I am certain that he knew he had ignited the will and passion of a freedom-loving people for which only time would prove the outcome.

So it is today. Now, we have the Constitution against which to compare the words and actions of those in public office. The people, Mr. President, are awaking. They are realigning their priorities, purifying their motivations, and galvanizing their wills. Their freedom and their families are what they love and, thankfully, what they will defend. As to what comes next, I cannot say. I do know that another Declaration Letter is not necessary since this country already belongs to us. Our freedom and this republic are already ours. It is the return of freedom they demand. It is nothing less than the adherence to the Constitution and to the oath we have both taken that they demand. We, continuing to carefully note and compare as our Founders did, are also coming to serious and reasoned conclusions. Our path is charted – unknown perhaps as to its ultimate outcome – but certain as to its demand upon us.

Today is a day, that to many, is more than just another day. It is a day that we as a nation, celebrate our Independence. To all my brothers and women in uniform around the world, thank you for your service and come home soon.

What follows is a speech written by John Manning, that won a www.worldnetdaily.com Independent Day TEA Party speech contest. All I can say about it is WOW, can that guy write!!



Fastened upon our ancestors by the despots of faraway lands, the Chains of Tyranny were linked by hereditary bondage, undeserved tribute and indentured servitude. By exhibiting gallant resolve and courage – in some cases against the face of certain death – our Minutemen forefathers gloriously threw off these chains just 233 short years ago.

Much has changed since that time. Yet today, we hear again the rattling and clanking of the Chains of Tyranny. The chains we hear are held not by foreign powers. Dreadfully, it is those among us, many of whom are our elected leaders, who possess the chains and toil endlessly to cast them across our backs. Now heavier and longer, the Chains of Tyranny have been wrought with new links – apathy masked by complacency, socialism fueled by internationalism, cults of undeserved celebrity and a reckless belief in the equality of results.

Moreover, they are now deceptively plated in gold. We have been assured, time and time again, by those who hold the chains that they "know better" and that to embrace their shackles would be "for our own good."

The threatened return of the Chains of Tyranny triggers that transcendent call for us to assemble here today.

Who are we?

We are the Defenders of Liberty!

Our hands reach across generations. We do not perceive the value of each other in abstract terms of race, gender, ethnicity or creed. We do not see ourselves as rich or poor. We spurn "identity politics" as a lazy and inadequate substitute for a guarded vigilance balanced by independent thoughts. For we are all individual citizens of America – black and white, man and woman, Mayflower descendent and newly naturalized – and we must all stand united to protect freedom's priceless but delicate charge!

We detest efforts by the holders of the Chains of Tyranny to corrupt the everyday meaning of things and turn us against one another.

Hope is not faith! Change is not reform! Taxation is not charity! Equality is not opportunity! Servitude is not freedom!

To this end, we reject the following confused ideas tinkered in minds that reason abandoned and faith no longer moderates: Inconvenient truths, audacities of hope, carbon footprints, unearned incomes and government-sponsored "recoveries."

We believe there is but one market – the free market – that, if allowed to run unfettered in a free society, can provide all men and women the opportunity to use the results of their work to better themselves, their families and their communities.

We know that public bailouts, no matter the intention, foster dependence, which in turn fornicates with servitude and begets slavery. For this reason alone, we would rather walk than drive a car made by any government! We would rather be paupers than be made rich by "public" money! We would rather drop dead than be cared for by Nurse Fed!

We further reject the guise of "universal health care" and recognize this abhorrent creature for what it is: a brazen attempt to seize illegally our wealth, control how we care for our mortal bodies, limit our access to the best medicines, stifle scientific progress and medical innovation, and transform our doctor's offices and hospitals into DMV-style waiting rooms.

The Defenders of Liberty will never stand by and ignore the attempts of others to cast off their own chains of servitude. We will not strike accords or offer bribes to dictators! We would rather cut off our hands before extending them to the harbingers of evil!

Speaking of evil, we know only those true rights: those that are unalienable and endowed by our Creator. We reject penumbral "rights" as false and dangerous ideas contrived in judicial cauldrons established only to massacre those who permeate the bookends of life.

And finally, we know that our sovereignty shall forever reside in We the People. For this we reassert that any government that limits the God-given right of her citizens to defend themselves automatically ceases to be a government – for such action shall void the social contract from which it was forged.

We are the True Patriots, left to guard perpetually that shining city upon a hill. We know of her, we dream of her, and yes, throughout history she has had a name: AMERICA! Let us rally around her, for we are the Defenders of Liberty! Let us will hoist our flags, wave our banners and bear our arms! Let us be vigilant and fight any attempt to ravage her! For, as the envious eyes of the world are still cast upon us, we vow not to be the last to feel the sweet effervescence of her freedom!

Support the nationalization of health care!!

I am here to tell you that I am fully supportive of the health care plan proposed by our congressional leadership. Yep, a conservative that is behind the health care proposal of Obama. With one little tweak. I will support it no questions asked IF congress will write into the plan that they MUST use the same plan that they are pushing on us. Yep, they are exempt. It is good enough for us, but NOT for them. Very interesting.........

Another ramble.....

January 10th, 1986 I was sitting in the living room at my parent’s house. My best friend asked me why I joined the Navy. There were multiple reasons why, not the least of which was just to get away from home. I had to get out and see life and what the world was all about. The military seemed like the best choice. Understand I do not, for one minute, regret my choice. I have seen and done things I will NEVER forget. Some cement my choice for enlisting while others make me question the machine that is our military. But all of them strengthen my love of my country.

My best friend asked me why. Without thought or hesitation I replied “Wes, we have freedoms others will never know or enjoy. Too many men and women died for those freedoms for me not to contribute to the cause.”

You may think it sounds cheesy or wonder what 17 year old thinks that. I did. My father, every day I was at home, practiced patriotism by simply living live and working hard. He reminded me that no one gives you anything; you get what you work for and if you want it-go get it.

My father was in the Air Force and my Uncle in the Navy. I had cousins in the Army. Love of country runs deep in my family.

But it seems that patriotism is dying and those that are patriots are ridiculed for it. The far left would have you believe that members of the armed forces are somehow less than they. I grew up reciting a pledge of allegiance to my flag and to the United States of America. Yet a small minority group would like you to think the pledge, since it uses the word God, should not be recited in school. Never mind that history proves our founding fathers had faith in God and wanted that biblical foundation evident in our governmental system.

The Constitution states Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. Some have distorted it so much that many people now believe that politics/government and religion cannot co-exist. The state and the church must be separated by a chasm. It seems ok to tout your family heritage as an influence to your decisions but it is NOT ok to use your faith, unless that faith is not a Judeo-Christian belief system. Supreme Court Judge, Sonia Sotamayor is a perfect example. Her Latino heritage will allow her to make better decisions than a white male. She hit the big two in one statement, racism and sexism. But she is a liberal so it is allowed. I wonder what would have been said if she had made a statement such as my belief in God and his holy scriptures, I believe, will allow me to make a fully informed and better decision than a male Muslim.

There is no equality in America. There never has been and never will be. AS long as men and women are alive there will be prejudice. It cannot be stamped out or eradicated by any means except a true to the core faith and belief in God. And not everyone will follow that faith and belief. We must stop using this unequal treatment as a crutch. Not everyone gets a great education. Not everyone gets too got to Harvard or Yale. The world needs ditch diggers. The world needs farmers, stay at home moms, stay at home dads and guys to trim your hedges and mow your grass. Life isn’t fair and the sooner we as a society realize that and stop trying to change what cannot be changed, we will be better off for it. You cannot legislate an opinion.

What is more inspiring than a man or women raised in poverty in the United States? They then move on to Community College and have to work to pay tuition. Community College followed by a four year institution of learning. What is more inspiring than having all the cards stacked against you, yet you play the hand as dealt and win. Our hallowed halls of education, government and corporate America are full of stories of people who grew up poor. Some were raised on farms and some were raised in the inner city. Yet somehow, with no government intervention, they thrived and moved on to become movers and shakers. Powerful men and women who persevered and are a living testament to what is, or at least was, the United States story. That story being hard work will get you there; you have to do it for yourself and by yourself at times. The Constitution guarantees the pursuit of happiness, no one will or can stop you from going after it. It never guarantees you’ll find it or get it or even have it handed to you by the government.

It is time for the people of the United States to put up or shut up! Over 200 years ago our forefathers put up. They refused to allow tyranny and greed to rule the new colonies. They believed in it so much they took a gamble and came by boat to a far-away, uncharted land with no infrastructure to help them. There were no roads, no houses, no nothing but land and opportunity to make a new life. All they needed was opportunity, they got it and thrived. They were not perfect, but what was perfect was their resolve. When called for, these men and women showed strength of character and ideals for a better society that paved the way for what we enjoy today. They fought for and in some cases died for our liberty. They did it for their posterity.

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station.... It is time. We have got to stand up, grab a pitchfork and a torch and march on Washington. I am speaking figuratively of course. We must take back our society from the greedy politicians in Washington who stopped listening to us long ago. These men and women no longer make decisions that in any way effect them. They have manipulated their way into positions that, in affect, have made them immune to the laws they enact. They use political manipulation to further their cause and are so influenced by special interest that the special interest groups now run the country. It is as if the politicians were puppets and the special interest groups are the puppeteers, just pulling strings and watching politicians dance. They have either forgotten or no longer care that they were voted into office by us to work for us. WE HAVE LET THEM FORGET and that must change or we will continue to slide down the slope that we are gaining speed on already.

BONIEK, BENNETT, BUTCHER, CURTISS, RANDALL, WARBURTONAN ACT EXEMPTING FROM FEDERAL REGULATION UNDER THE COMMERCE CLAUSE OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES A FIREARM, A FIREARM ACCESSORY, OR AMMUNITION MANUFACTURED AND RETAINED IN MONTANA; AND PROVIDING AN APPLICABILITY DATE.BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
Section 1. Short title. [Sections 1 through 6] may be cited as the "Montana Firearms Freedom Act".Section 2. Legislative declarations of authority. The legislature declares that the authority for [sections 1 through 6] is the following:(1) The 10th amendment to the United States constitution guarantees to the states and their people all powers not granted to the federal government elsewhere in the constitution and reserves to the state and people of Montana certain powers as they were understood at the time that Montana was admitted to statehood in 1889. The guaranty of those powers is a matter of contract between the state and people of Montana and the United States as of the time that the compact with the United States was agreed upon and adopted by Montana and the United States in 1889.
(2) The ninth amendment to the United States constitution guarantees to the people rights not granted in the constitution and reserves to the people of Montana certain rights, as they were understood at the time that Montana was admitted to statehood in 1889. The guaranty of those rights is a matter of contract between the state and people of Montana and the United States as of the time that the compact with the United States was agreed upon and adopted by Montana and the United States in 1889.
(3) The regulation of intrastate commerce is vested in the states under the 9th and 10th amendments to the United States constitution, particularly if not expressly preempted by federal law. Congress has not expressly preempted state regulation of intrastate commerce pertaining to the manufacture on an intrastate basis of firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition.
(4) The second amendment to the United States constitution reserves to the people the right to keep and bear arms as that right was understood at the time that Montana was admitted to statehood in 1889, and the guaranty of the right is a matter of contract between the state and people of Montana and the United States as of the time that the compact with the United States was agreed upon and adopted by Montana and the United States in 1889.
(5) Article II, section 12, of the Montana constitution clearly secures to Montana citizens, and prohibits government interference with, the right of individual Montana citizens to keep and bear arms. This constitutional protection is unchanged from the 1889 Montana constitution, which was approved by congress and the people of Montana, and the right exists, as it was understood at the time that the compact with the United States was agreed upon and adopted by Montana and the United States in 1889.
Section 3. Definitions. As used in [sections 1 through 6], the following definitions apply:
(1) "Borders of Montana" means the boundaries of Montana described in Article I, section 1, of the 1889 Montana constitution.
(2) "Firearms accessories" means items that are used in conjunction with or mounted upon a firearm but are not essential to the basic function of a firearm, including but not limited to telescopic or laser sights, magazines, flash or sound suppressors, folding or aftermarket stocks and grips, speed loaders, ammunition carriers, and lights for target illumination.
(3) "Generic and insignificant parts" includes but is not limited to springs, screws, nuts, and pins.
(4) "Manufactured" means that a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition has been created from basic materials for functional usefulness, including but not limited to forging, casting, machining, or other processes for working materials.Section 4. Prohibitions. A personal firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in Montana and that remains within the borders of Montana is not subject to federal law or federal regulation, including registration, under the authority of congress to regulate interstate commerce. It is declared by the legislature that those items have not traveled in interstate commerce. This section applies to a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured in Montana from basic materials and that can be manufactured without the inclusion of any significant parts imported from another state. Generic and insignificant parts that have other manufacturing or consumer product applications are not firearms, firearms accessories, or ammunition, and their importation into Montana and incorporation into a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition manufactured in Montana does not subject the firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition to federal regulation. It is declared by the legislature that basic materials, such as unmachined steel and unshaped wood, are not firearms, firearms accessories, or ammunition and are not subject to congressional authority to regulate firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition under interstate commerce as if they were actually firearms, firearms accessories, or ammunition. The authority of congress to regulate interstate commerce in basic materials does not include authority to regulate firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition made in Montana from those materials. Firearms accessories that are imported into Montana from another state and that are subject to federal regulation as being in interstate commerce do not subject a firearm to federal regulation under interstate commerce because they are attached to or used in conjunction with a firearm in Montana.
Section 5. Exceptions.
[Section 4] does not apply to:
(1) A firearm that cannot be carried and used by one person;
(2) A firearm that has a bore diameter greater than 1 1/2 inches and that uses smokeless powder, not black powder, as a propellant;
(3) ammunition with a projectile that explodes using an explosion of chemical energy after the projectile leaves the firearm; or
(4) a firearm that discharges two or more projectiles with one activation of the trigger or other firing device.
Section 6. Marketing of firearms. A firearm manufactured or sold in Montana under [sections 1 through 6] must have the words "Made in Montana" clearly stamped on a central metallic part, such as the receiver or frame.
Section 7. Codification instruction. [Sections 1 through 6] are intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 30, and the provisions of Title 30 apply to [sections 1 through 6].Section 8. Applicability. [This act] applies to firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition that are manufactured, as defined in [section 3], and retained in Montana after October 1, 2009.

What does this mean for the average guy? Nothing if you don't live in Montana. However, this now means there could be potentially thousands of guns with marking that do not meat FEDERAL standards but meet MONTANA standards. Are they the same standards? I don't know, but I do know that Texas is not far behind with a very similar law and now that Montana has acted upon their rights according to the Constitution, President Obama has 2 choices. Do nothing and look weak OR go after them AFTER he puts in an anti-gun appointee in the highest court in the land. If he goes after them, will they succeed the union? Maybe. If Texas enacts their law, he is forced to do something.
Can he afford to have 2 states succeed the union? Only time will tell where this goes.
