Alan Grayson is Nuts? - MyCongressmanIsNuts.com

Alan Grayson is Nuts - MyCongressmanIsNuts.com

Alan Grayson wants the "owner" of the web site arrested, charged, convicted and put away for 5 years. He wants her gone so bad that he has contacted the Attorney General of the US to have her investigated, charged, convicted and put away.

She must have hit a nerve. Maybe you should watch what you say Congressman. Maybe you should listen to the people who elected you. granted, she is not in your district, but I would be willing to bet that she is not the only person who feels that way. I am sure there are people in your district who feel that way. I am pretty sure they have contacted you about it as well. I can't prove it, but it is a pretty solid guess on my part.

Who will step up?

Who will step up? Will it be a lone Democrat voice? Probably not. They are either too scare to speak out against the Chicago political machine or are blindly being pulled along by the party line
Who will step up? Will it be the Republicans? Probably not. They have become so beholden to the "upper crust" of the right wing that the average citizen's voice can no longer be heard over the financial ravings of the right wing elite.
Who will step up? Will it be a lone Independent? Maybe. The Democrats have been taken over by the far left. The Republicans have been taken over by the Democrat lites or the right leaning centrists. The far right are labeled as kooks while the far left are labeled as caring, wanting to help the down-trodden. So, I believe, it will be the independent minded politician who has a chance. One who very well may be middle of the road, but realizes that both Democrats and Republicans are as out of touch with the "man on the street" as you can possible be.
So will it be a man like Joe Lieberman, a person who anyone who has the most remote political knowledge knows is an independent.
Or will it be someone born out of a grass roots political movement who has no political background? Will we see someone with the juevos to stand and be counted. A lone political voice screaming into the Washington elite whirlwind hopping to be heard.
Our forefathers founded this nation. Not literally, I know that, but they spent hours debating the documents that have defined our nation for over 200 years and until recently, we as Americans lived and died by. Now we are "led" by people/parties/ideologies that want to "fundamentally transform" America. We are "represented" by men and women who refuse to meet with the very people who they represent. We are made fun of, trivialized and flat out ignored. No one in either party has what it takes to call a spade a spade. And when they do get some semblance of a backbone, the national media ignores it or jumps on the bandwagon and joins in the name calling.
Washington, you had better wise up. To the parties in Washington I would say this...
Democrats-Wise up. The road you are dragging us down will lead to your demise. America, for the most part, has spoken up, yet you have chosen to play the ostrich and have stuck your head in the sand thinking that if you can't hear us we must not be speaking.
Republicans-Wise up. You had better start campaigning now if you expect to take over next year. Our President started campaigning 2 years ago and has not stopped. And IF you happen to take control next year, you had better be what I and many others hope you can be and should be. PROVE TO US that you are indeed fiscally responsible, PROVE TO US that you indeed want to make our borders more secure, PROVE TO US that you want to improve our economy by not spending us into oblivion.
The question is do either the GOP or the Democrats still think the Constitution means anything?

WTOC in Savannah, Ga

It is about time someone said it!!

You want to prosecute who?!

We ask our men and women to go forth and protect our interests. We put them in harms way knowing they may need to lay down their life for our country or people from other countries in the hopes of delivering the ultimate Christmas present, freedom and democracy. When they do go forth and do what we ask, we in turn believe some cowardly bully from another country who openly admits he hates America and what we stand for. He admits he would willingly die for a chance to kill one American citizen. Does anyone honestly believe that 3 SEALS hurt one lowly Jihadist? If they were going to put a hurtin on this guy, a fat lip would be the least of his worries.
This is one of those times when we should stand up and speak up. Do so by signing a petition to stop the prosecution of those brave men and let them go back to doing what they do best. That is not dying for their country but making others die for theirs.

Cass Sunstein and another lunatic opinion

Cass Sunstein-Open Mouth-Insert Foot

So lets see if I get this right.
1. He wants animals to be allowed to secure a lawyer and then sue their owners. Not a radical idea.
2. He defends Communism and the welfare state, but feels that the "white majority" would oppose it since it would help Hispanics and black people. Not radical at all.
3. Marriage hinders single people and we should just abolish marriage. That isn't a radical idea.
4. He thinks we should be able to take organs from patients, WITHOUT their consent, if they are terminally ill or helpless. That's not a very radical idea.
5. Broadcasters, radio and TV, should be forced to air diverse ads and opinions. Now there is a novel idea that is in no way radical.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This guy has the Presidents ear and he thinks this is a normal thought process or idea?! WHAT?! My dog should be able to get a lawyer?! Cass, I know we are a bit late with the whole "this is your brain on drugs" thing, but seriously, put down the crack pipe and walk away.

America, this is what we get when we elect a radical to the office we have. Birds of a feather flock together?! No one has heard that saying before?

Cass Sunstein talks about censoring the media when he is the one that needs censored. Not because of his radical, crazy, left field, ideas but because it would be for his own good. If he wants to spout off about his radical ideas or opinions, go for it. But does he realize how insane he sounds?!

My mama always told me "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". You can tell I listened. In today's day and age, we may want to consider altering that a bit. Hey Cass, If you can't say something intelligent, shut your pie hole!!

Look, here is a guy that has his fingers in a large slice of the governmental pie and my fear is, no matter how much we may want to or need to or get to clean it, his stain will be left on the fabric of America FOREVER. It is time to give Washington DC an enema and get rid of the lot of them.

Over 200 years ago our forefathers signed their name onto a document that will FOREVER hold a place of honor. On that document they made a solemn vow. "AND FOR THE SUPPORT OF THIS DECLARATION , WITH A FIRM RELIANCE ON THE PROTECTION OF DIVINE PROVIDENCE, WE MUTUALLY PLEDGE TO EACH OTHER OUR LIVES, OUR FORTUNES, AND OUR SACRED HONOR." If they could see how lazy we have become, how so like sheep we are as a nation, they would be furious and they would be heart broken.

Am I suggesting we march on Washington by the millions? Maybe.

Is it time for Revolutionary War II? Maybe.

Is it time that we the people take back our country? HELL YEAH!!

I DARE YOU NOT TO CRY A BIT

In today's society, our warriors are not given the honor they so justly deserve. While they maynot be, in some cases, treated as harshly as our Vietnam veterans may have been when they returned, they are not given the honor they should get. Most are given indifference while some our mocked and ridiculed.

History has shown that many nations give their warriors a special place both in society and in the hearts of the very people they defend. This place is much deserved. You can rightly judge a nation on how it treats it warriors. Judge the nation on how it treats the very men and women who, without hesitation or reservation, volunteer to lay their life on the line every day in order to keep the battle anywhere but here at home. They leave family and friends behind for months on end in order to ensure that someone else, whom they have never met and might have very little in common with, gets a chance to have a sliver of the freedoms that many here in the U.S. take for granted and place very little thought on or about.

Many country's don't allow some of the basic freedoms we have. It isn't every country that allows you to march to the nation's capital and protest. It isn't every country that allows you to write what you want about your government and put it in the paper. In some country's the newspaper is controlled, or at the very least tightly scrutinized and edited, by the government.

So when you find someone or some people who take time or make time to ensure that our warriors get the respect they deserve in life OR in death, that person is special. And then to learn he or she is not a veteran and does it out of a love for our men and women in uniform, they become even more special. The emotions and thoughts that veterans feel for these people is very similar to the emotions brought on by watching our flag wave and hearing our anthem play. For both of these, to veterans, are much more than the sum of the parts. I believe, for veterans, the flag and the National Anthem evoke much more emotion and bring it from deeper within than they do for your average citizen. We spent years under that flag, hearing it wave in the wind, feeling it block the sun to cool us in one second and moving away the next allowing the sun to hit our backs. The National Anthem is a song we hear more times a year than I could count. It reminds us why we do what we do and of those who did it before us.

To this gentlemen in Texas, from a veteran in Pa, sir I say thank you for giving our men and women what they so richly deserve.
